Perfect Object: Antique Cast Iron Two Pound Scale Weight sandwich box just nice wear and softeningOne certainly comes across old scale weights, but I must say I don't think one has ever struck me as this one does to my eye just a perfect object, with just the right sort of "2" which somehow makes me think of carnivals and circuses and so too targets and strongmen and high striker games, etc. Cast iron, 19th c. I believe, with the rings stepped back toward the center. Perfect as a large and heavy paperweight now or a handy 2 lb. hand weight! 3 5 16
