Oil Splash Lustre Bowl gentleman and lady with some chips to theI'm a bit obsessed with this one feeling like the perfect bowl for a few scoops of bubble gum (or peppermint, or cotton candy) ice cream! It's a small, 19th c. lustre decorated bowl, with this particular application of the lustre glaze called "oil splash." I've seen a few examples of it on tea cups and saucers, but never with anything close to the perfectly formed circles here, each outlined with a darker pink ring, looking like soap bubbles. Feels
