The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Kiatra Estate turned out every bit as magical as I had hoped

Builds and builds with a smooth ascent into a very long

plenty of structure

with a long maceration on the skins lasting 20-22 days

less demonstrative than bottles encountered previously and less “sexier”

Hubert Lignier, Pommard Brescul Vintage:2020 The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon KiatraDistinct floral top notes are present on the aromas of violet, lavender and black raspberry. There is excellent punch to the well delineated if slightly angular medium bodied flavors that conclude in a moderately austere and slightly rustic finale. This will need a few years to hopefully add body and round out and my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt that the wine will evolve in that direction.
