with whom he worked in the family farm and vineyards
The 2022 vintage underwent whole-cluster fermentation with indigenous yeasts
Vins Contés reds are all made similarly: semi-carbonic maceration with whole clusters layered in closed tanks with CO2
2023 Petite Empreinte Bourgogne Cotes d'Auxerre 'Tapis Rouge', Burgundy, France Milziade Antano SOIL: a siltyFrom a parcel of Pinot Noir planted in 1978 on a gently sloped, south facing plateau of Portlandian limestone in St. Bris le Vineux. The whole clusters were fermented spontaneously in barrique with a 22 day maceration, with no sulfur and with two punchdowns. The wine aged for 11 months in barrique without racking and bottled unfiltered with a tiny dose of sulfur. 1 bottle maxim per customer.
