2022 Cascina Lieto 'Crochet' Rosso Frizzante, Piedmont, Italy Barrialto Ambient yeast fermentationA tiny, natural sparkler from Hiroto & Rie Sasakis micro estate in Castiglione Tinella, Croch is a Barbera and Freisabased red grown on clay limestone loess hills and bottled with a gentle, natural re fermentation for fine bubbles. Hand harvested fruit sees a short skin maceration and spontaneous ferment in stainless steel; levage stays in tank with minimal sulfur before tirage and bottling.
