2019 Buona Notte 'Il Nido' Sauvignon, Columbia Gorge Enzo Boglietti seventh vintage of Forthave BLACKIl Nido is Italian for, The Nest as this Sauvignon Blanc vineyard is perched in Underwood, Washington overlooking the gorge. The grapes were picked late in the year, but only around 22 Brix when they tasted of honey and full of acidity. This Vineyard is truly world class. Aged in neutral French oak for six months. Il Nido is a tropical and high acid, a playful food pairing for spicy and fatty foods.
